Administrative Officer
Roveg Fruit B.V. is a leading importer and exporter of fresh fruits and vegetables from all over the world. Given the diversity in products, no day at Roveg Fruit is the same. The customs department is crucial in the logistical chain of our products. They are responsible for import and export declarations, applying for certificates, inspection applications, processing these documents and are responsible for the warehouse administration. To strengthen the customs team, we are looking for an: Administrative Officer
What will you be doing?
The customs department is indispensable in the transportation of our products. As an Administrative Officer Customs your duties will include:
- Handling air, sea and road transport
- Request import and export inspections
- Work closely with the operational department for optimal service to the customer
- The administrative handling of BIO products
- Processing of import duties and similar taxes
- Preventing delays of the logistical processes
Of course, as an Administrative Officer you will be kept informed of developments within customs and tax legislation.
In order to be able to do this work well and with pleasure, we ask from you:
- MBO + / HBO working and thinking level
- Good command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing
- Available full-time (no 9 to 5 mentality)

The team
You will be working in an informal and pleasant team, where people aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
The team works in alternating (early / late) shifts and rotate for on-call shifts in the evenings and on weekends. This can usually be done from home.
You will be given the opportunity to think along regarding processes and will be deployed in all areas within the customs environment at Roveg.
