All-round Application Manager (Full-time)

Who are we?

Roveg Fruit is internationally engaged in the import and export of fruits and vegetables. We supply our products to supermarkets, wholesalers, and catering companies. Our head office is located in Waddinxveen. We import a wide range of products and are unique in our exotic portfolio. We have our own ripening facilities and packaging lines. What will you do?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Application Manager to strengthen our team. As Application Manager, you, along with two other colleagues, will be responsible for the optimal functioning of applications and systems within our organization. You will ensure that users of the systems can work efficiently, support them in case of incidents, and implement improvements based on user requests.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Manage business applications and systems (ERP, customs system, and BI system).
• Act as a point of contact for users and suppliers of systems and applications.
• Analyze and communicate functional requests and improvements within the IT team.
• Support in the development and implementation of new systems and applications on our integration platform.
• Manage and develop our data warehouse and business intelligence system.
• Analyze performance and prepare reports and documentation for users and stakeholders.
• Translate user needs into technical specifications.

What do we expect?

You are passionate about your work and think in terms of possibilities and opportunities. You specialize in various systems and technologies for which ICT is responsible. You are comfortable both working in a team and working independently. You enjoy seeing firsthand how systems are used on the work floor.

• Completed HBO (University of applied sciences) education, preferably in the fields of Computer Science, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Experience with functional management, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and BI applications (PowerBI).
• Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Analytical skills and the ability to improve processes.
• Experience in writing functional documentation and manuals.
• Ambition to further develop systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of ITIL is a plus.
